58-R...you say it's a Bel Air Impala? Is Impala trim or is that the full name?

I understand what you mean about the grille of the Chevrolet, but look at the vertical tailfins, the bullet-shaped bumper guards, and the non-continuous side trim of the Cadillac.

Hmm...hard to tell. The late fifties' Impalas looked slmiar to cadillacs.

Violet Cypress Hill car is not a Cadillac, but a 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air Impala Convertible.
Pop-up headlamps on Corvette first used on 1968 model year.
