I was referring to the name "New Yorker" in the same spot:
http://jalopnik.com/assets/resources/2007/06/NY_Emblem.jpg

But since you showed me that the insignias on the 300 and the Newport were also gold-plated, maybe this is a Newport.
vilero

But did the Newport have a gold-plated insignia between the front fender and the front end of the car? Because that's what this one has, and if the Newport never had that, then it confirms my I.D. of it as the New Yorker. Also, the Bronco that you identified as a 1980 was actually another 1987.

Thanks for the uploads though.

Are you refering tho the name "chrysler" written between front fender and front wheel http://www.conceptcarz.com/view/photo/232184,14460,0,0/1962-Chrysler-Newport_Photo.aspx

Also I notice Newport had a chromed side bar and New Yorker hadn't it.

Anyway the car is now as unknown for open discussion

The nice background 1962 Chrysler, I think is a Newport. I've checked New Yorker and 300 and New Yorker had 9 side chromed louvres http://jalopnik.com/cars/down-on-the-street/1962-chrysler-new-yorker-266092.php and 300 a round finishing the chromed side bar in rear part.

Please add yourself the rest of your pics as thumbnails in comments of each car. And also check if the stars of each vehicle are well.

And a third of both the Bronco, and the Jimmy once again. The FBI agent, played by William Forsythe is about to get out of the Bronco and shout through his bull-horn.

A second shot of the good cop's Bronco.

Once again, Image Shack is deciding to be a total douchebag to me, and keep me from uploading the following images. Maybe they don't like images with ampersands in the file names, but I changed the names of the first file with the 1980-86 Ford Bronco & GMC Jimmy, and it didn't do anything for me. So now, I'm just going to upload the remaining images on three separate posts. Here's the 1987 or later Ford Bronco by the cops who approach the white supremacists' compound, followed by an undercover police GMC Jimmy made after 1981.

This is the rental car that Don Johnson drives throughout the Southwest. It's a 1987 or later Chevrolet Celebrity and he uses it to go to Cottonwood, Arizona, that other hick town in Oklahoma with the bigoted sheriff, and Oklahoma City, where he meets one of the white supremacist goons hiding in the back seat of his car and pointing a gun at his head. Johnson's character spins it out and crashes it into an OKC Police car to save himself, and another shootout begins. So three stars.

Here's the police car: A 1978 or later Ford Fairmont:

http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/6609/deadbang1978fordfairmon.th.jpg

Even better, I've got a 1987 or later Ford Bronco that follows him after the neo-Nazi pops out from the back seat.

I'll just give you the direct link for now, but I assure you it's no less than three stars in this case as well.

Sometime over the weekend or maybe next week, I'll get two other vehicles, and then I'm done with this title.

Well, since Image Shack doesn't want to let me upload the image on their site, I thought I'd show you the 1980-86 Ford Bronco, and 1981 or later GMC Jimmy police trucks in some rural Oklahoma town run by a Sheriff who's racial attitude hasn't changed since 1965. Is this too small for you? Because I can see just enough to know that the second SUV is a Jimmy.
Ddey65
For this round, I was going to provide a direct link to all four images of some Plymouth Gran Fury police cars based in rural Arizona:
http://img17.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=deadbang198289plymouthg.jpg
But I think instead I'm going to post them here individually:

First you've got the Sheriff of "Cottonwood, Arizona" leading Johnson's character to those white supremacists, who previously robbed and murdered patrons of a Latino Bar & Grille:
http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/6136/deadbang198289plymouthg.th.jpg

Then you've got two other police cars following them on the way to a place called "the old Steadman Ranch," which looks like an abandoned mansion or railroad station.

Johnson and the Sheriff running off the road after being shot at(Both survived and shot it out with the neo-Nazis).
http://img365.imageshack.us/img365/6136/deadbang198289plymouthg.th.jpg

And another one that spun out while being shot at and stayed on the road.

http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/6136/deadbang198289plymouthg.th.jpg
I wanted to get the second one flying off the road into the ditch, but I couldn't get a good shot of it, so I decided to skip it. They're all worth at least three stars.

Now, check this out; It's a 1962 Chrysler New Yorker:
http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/1738/deadbang1962chryslernewm.th.jpg

A background vehicle used in the movie by the neo-Nazis to hide behind while shooting it out with the cops. Probably one star. This is the same scene where they burst out with the maroon Pontiac Station Wagon and kicked the tailgate down to shoot at them with a huge Browning automatic, or possibly an anti-aircraft gun.

Here's a 1984 Chevrolet Celebrity:
http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/2231/deadbang1984chevroletce.th.jpg
Penelope Ann Miller, who played the wife of the cop who got killed in the beginning of the movie gets out of it. Two stars.
