Hello all!!
I am PDG308. I am also the owner of the Ferrari 308 GTSi QV documented here: http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=266240#Comment1333617
The photo was taken by a friend of mine who actually sold the car. The photo was part of the advertisement for the car as featured in Dupont Registry magazine. Unfortunately, I have never seen this particular show that apparently featured my car.
I purchased this Ferrari in June 2009 and have owned it since. I drive it almost daily just because I can. As I write this the car just went past 72,000 miles.
The car has also been featured on several local television programs in the Savannah, Georgia area under my stewardship.
This Ferrari was featured on a LOT of websites back in 2009 including Dupont Registry and WhatOneMillionBuys.com among others.
My Ferrari is one of only four that were painted metallic black (paint code 901/C) in 1985. From all the 308 and 328s built there were reportedly a total of 24 cars painted this color. The production run was between 1075 and 1990 and totalled around 20,000 cars. My car also has a creme interior which only adds to the rarity - most Ferraris lean toward a tan interior, particularly in the US.
I will try to attach a few more photos of the car but I am new to the forum so forgive my stumbling around. Please feel free to ask any questions you like.
Thanks for reading!!!
