Hi Rusty Shackleford -- thanks!
Other sources indicate it might be a Chevrolet K-30 body, which was customized.
Just FYI, although many parts of the show were filmed in the Napa Valley, this usually happened with the majority of scenes in the first twelve episodes of each season until year 7. The remaining scenes of these episodes plus the remaining full episodes each season (i.e. episodes 13 and beyond) were filmed in Greater Los Angeles.
This specific scene with the fire truck was shot in Griffith Park in L.A.

81-83 Chevy of GMC. The show was mostly filmed in St Helena,CA in the Napa valley. Tried to research as to what truck it is, but no leads yet.

Looks like 1981 or later GM based pickup truck to me

Does anybody know the make and model of the fire truck in the background? Production date of this "Falcon Crest" episode is 1983, but I don't have any idea on the model year of the vehicle. There's no better shot unfortunately.
Thanks for taking a look!
