and..
the following all have visible features of steel bodied cars which were 1977 at the earliest
Euro: reverse lights in main light clusters, not bumper + recess for plate in the back panel between lights (Euro vetroresina/fibreglass cars had no recess at all)
US: wide Euro-size recess for plate (US fibreglass cars had narrow recess)

No need really to have 3 BMW 507 'Touring Sport' and 21 plain 507's. They are all the same exact car with no name change during production implied in the comments. As already mentioned by user 'Alexander' in these comments "Touring Sport" was to be removed. If you agree.. otherwise TS should be added to all the rest? either way as things are it suggests there's some difference in these 3 cars. My thinking is that TS should be removed from the 3 for consistency:
http://imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=13420
http://imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1552
http://imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=3532

Also.. I don't think this 2000 1.8 existed anywhere and anyway I see no proof. So plain 2000
http://imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=465518

...and also I've identified this
http://imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1099767

that's it for now..

That was not really a missed identification, as that full name was not clearly stated on the vehicle page

Proposal: for uniformity all BMW Art Cars titled in the format eg. "1975 BMW XXXX BMW Art Car by Frank Stella [E9] . "No1" could be added for the Calder car as sometimes it is mentioned like that as it was.. the no1 made.

So.. using this system (and after correcting other info like 3.5 instead 3.0 etc):

"Racecar" was rather for F1 and other specific cars.
When a car has the same body as a production car (even if it is just a look-alike, they are usually completely built for the race) we list it in the same category as the production car.

Also, this thread is for missed comments. Here you post info that's not in the comments. So later someone wonders why it was changed, he may change it back...
e.g. on http://imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=39716 someone mentions a US version

OK I will try to post in each of the pages from now on.
About the racecars: I see lots and lots listed as "racecar" which are exactly as you say: based on production cars. But if you say so I won't bother with them anymore..

these 2 I have commnented on their pages...

Sorry I thought someone already updated them, now I see it is just the E to change to M (even if it was said in the comment :shy: )
