Oh my god!

I was lucky to own a Swiss-spec Stratus Limousine. The front plate mounting is different to a normal european model. But to see a real us version in Germany is so amazing.

That's nothing. Once I saw a Geo Metro in front of a PENNY market, but I didn't have my camera with me.
In South Jersey, drove past this U-Pull-It salvage yard earlier today and saw a Jensen Healey in front. When I drove by later, it was blocked by the lift. I hope it doesn't get scrapped. Why would someone send it a junkyard instead of selling it to a collector, for at the very least parts. :alarmclock118:
Rare! Sad that somebody would junk it... :ohwell:

I'd like to see that '67 Olds 98, shlc647

A couple of weeks ago in a nearby Costco parking lot...the phrase "You may kiss the bride" came to mind. And yes, they were touching. Scion's bumper appeared slightly pushed in from it.

That Ford Pinto I posted earlier? Found it for sale locally...

Another local listing. "Armored" Deville?

For those that think Toyota Carina are extinct in the US - at least one is still technically alive in L.A. (of course).

1985 Chevrolet Caprice Classic (according to plate)

The record shows it has failed emissions three times since August...yikes :huit:

That Carina is actually a Corona Mark II, just sayin'. Still a rare sight nowadays.

(I do think the other car in the one pic is a Carina, the navy blue with the headlight peeking out)

I was thinking Chevrolet too but afraid of getting struck again if I was wrong

But you're right, the seller just now corrected it (and raised the price by $500!)...

Also the possible Carina in the lower-left corner of the pic? It says "el Camino" on it

Nice pics shlc647!

This Noon I saw on the way to the supermarket a right-hand-drive Saab 9-3, with plates from my county, so not a British tourist.

Although it was a newer model, the oil bearings seemed to be worn out by the dust and smell.

Yesterday I saw annother RHD-car, a first gen Vauxhall Zafira with Romanian plates.

I'm not the only owner of a RHD in my village. There is a junky Vauxhall Movano-clunker, a Morris Minor Traveller and a carpenter has a RHD-Fiat Ducato.

I booked a test drive for a Fiat Tipo 5-door on next Thursday (28 September). So THIS might be my next car. If i like it i will order it in Bianco White (same color as photo) with Pop Tech Package: Park Distance Control, Steering Wheel in leather and Bluetooth.

Thats the brand new Fiat Tipo S-Line! I didnt know its new when i filmed it with my dashcam.

Brilliance BS4. They were officially sold in Germany but they are rare because Brilliance failed massively at the Crash Test and since the famous Landwind X9 crash test (http://www.autobild.de/artikel/crashtest-jiangling-landwind-52286.html) we are a bit biased in terms of chinese cars.

Btw, i already took a seat in a Brilliance BS4!

While in a massive line at a traffic light there was a 1991-94 Mercury Capri like this at the intersection I was waiting at. Unfortunately no picture since their light turned green 1st and I was 3-4 cars back from the front. Must not be very many left now.

Fortunately I did get to see a 1994 Ford Taurus SHO today:

Unfortunately it is not the rare stick shift model.

Seen today, i think its a Fleetwood Brougham but something is fishy with either the grille or the turn signal, i can't find that combination on Old Car Brochures and can't put a year range on it

the thing that hit me the most is the lenght of it , my car is in the pic for comparison , both were about flush for the front

Missed today and in the previous days : 1999-2000 Ford SVT Lightning , late 80's Olds 98 ( no pic, driving ) and a Impala/Caprice convertible from the 70's ( about the last ones ) . this one could had a pic if it wasn't for the Sienna that decide to sneak in between the Chevy and me ..

^ The front turn signals look like they are from 1987+ Cadillac Brougham, not sure about everything else. Nice model either way.

it was " Old Car Friday " yesterday . First there was a 1968-1972 Chevy Corvette convertible ( no pic, driving ) , then a late 70's Cadillac Coupe deVille ( no pic, view obstructed by a Sorento's front end and my A-pillar ) . Then , the mistake, i wasn't supposed to get in the Canadian Tire parking lot but ended up there without explanation ( one of my friends had to go in that area but none of us had to go to that store ) where i spotted this one, i don't even remember seeing one in my life . the owner told me it ran only once this year and he just finished fixing it ( i didn't asked what was wrong )

same parking lot, at the other end, an automotive relic from the 1976 Olympics

I hope it is getting into a restoration process and not going in a downhill...

next two are less unusual but special in a way due to their condition

Just found out that i know the owner of this red car:

http://imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=807471#Comment2216101

This was filmed just two blocks away from my childhood home. The white building in the background is a retirement home.

Sadly the owner is not on IMCDb so we cant put is as "Members cars". And this car is already scrapped.

The cars I have seen this week:

1965 or 1966 Ford Mustang:
https://i.imgur.com/55mIkGe.jpg
Surprised that it looks to be all stock.

1966 Plymouth Satellite Coupé:
https://i.imgur.com/9G6pEXd.jpg
Yet another that appears to be all stock.

1992 Volvo 240 GL Sedan:
https://i.imgur.com/FJjdQDe.jpg
Very clean considering the age. Not very common in NorCal anymore, but I know that they are still running all over SoCal.

1982-85 Toyota Celica GT-S:
https://i.imgur.com/tCO0LM6.jpg
Seen a few of these up here recently. Including this one there are 3 of them in my area.

1992 Mazda MX-6 LX (3BAM106):
https://i.imgur.com/XHm6R99.jpg
This one I was very surprised to see, especially in this condition. I thought most were gone by now.

Unfortunately I missed a 1971 or 1972 GMC Suburban and an early 1960s Ford Galaxie Convertible because on both occasions a car got in the way of my ability to take a picture.
