Can't find an existing thread, so ....

Stag chronology (based on http://www.triumphstag.net/start/index.htm with slight amendments):
June 1970 - launched - 2997cc V8 145 bhp (USA spec - 127 bhp). Bodies built at Speke (Liverpool), final assembly at Canley (Coventry)
1971 - Revised front suspension struts, revised Hood Catches
1972 - Stainless steel sill strip, new radiator, overdrive standard
1973 (Feb) - (Mk2) Higher Compression ratio, revised alternator, smaller steering wheel, restyled interior, black painted tail panel & sills, twin coach lines, hard & soft tops now standard, alloy wheels option replace wire wheels
1976 (Jan) - Brushed aluminium sill covers, alloys and tinted glass standard, rear panel reverts to body colour, laminated windscreen
1976 - Borg Warner 65 auto box replaces 35
1977 - Discontinued
