Not sure if it's related, but I keep getting this message on my laptop:
"This webpage wants to run the following add-on "Apple" from "Apple, Inc." "
"This webpage wants to run the following add-on "Apple" from "Apple, Inc." "
that's weird
On all pages? Or just the home page?
I suppose you use Safari?
edit: possible that it was related: the new ad link I've put starts by "//" instead of "http://", not sure why (maybe to dynamically use http or https depending on the site?)
I'll force "http://" in front of the address, as it is probably more reliable that way.
My ipad now seems to be back to normal.
So it was an ad, as suspected (the code of the site itself is basic and hasn't changed since long time, so it was less likely the site causing that)
edit: cf reply above, maybe the ipad was not loading any ads due to the strange address. I've fixed the link, now when logged in there are ads only from the main provider; for unlogged visitors ads can come from the two. Check if it still works...

The Apple warning shows up on my laptop, which I use IE11. It's not every page, so I suspect it has to do with the ad loading.

Possibly for some animated ads then, strange. Have you tried allowing it? (or is there an option for blocking it?)

My ipad is off the air again.
I have been out and about so have not looked at it since this am.

I seem to have stumbled across a way round my problem, although I have no idea why it works. This is for the ipad only, not the laptop on which I am currently typing.
1) Open site, log in, go to "Unidentified" page.
Ipad opens page then freezes.
2) Open site, log in, go to "See all comments" page, then go to "Unidentified" page, everything works fine.
I can cope with things driven by clockwork, like my gramophone, or steam, like the Tornado, but this......
With best regards

Weird... So in the end the problem was not fixed with the ad change I made on Friday? If so, it is maybe a problem in one of the ads of the main provider
You didn't check the option to log in automatically? As you always mention that you have to log in.
