Yesterday, on the Dutch television, the movie "Patton" from 1970 by Franklin Schaffner, was broadcasted (again). It describes the life of this famous WW2 general and got a couple of Oscars. Somewhere halfway in this movie, Patton arrives in Knutsford to address a local women's club. Now the questions. Patton arrives in an American car. Is this a straight eight Buick? In the backgound there are two big cars visible parked alongside the road. These may be Daimler DE's, but before I realised what I was seeing, the film had moved on. Can anyone help me to identify these two cars?
