If a teen has a car in his/her name the insurance is going to be very expensive. Also, if the teen gets into an accident, I think they could be fully responsible if it's a serious accident (I'm not quite sure actually ). The reason why my car is in my name is because I purchased the car from my grandmother. I'm making payments right now and may get a summer job to pay for insurance.
