It is somewhat a "default" value (I know you don't like these) to use "AUS" for AUS & NZ, like we tend to use "USA" for North-American specs.
About setting it for all AUS-made: some may be identical to the US model despite being made in AUS, some may be AUS-specific versions, so I'm not sure applying it to all is wise?
