2018 Kia Ceed arrives as 5-door hatch with other versions to follow.

Officially loses that stupid apostrophe, so no longer Cee'd. We'll have to be careful when it arrives.

Because the Camry sold *so* well the last time it was offered in the UK:
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/toyota/103794/toyota-camry-to-return-to-uk-in-2019-as-avensis-is-axed
We're also getting the Lexus ES for the first time as the GS is not long for this world:
https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-review/first-drives/lexus-es-300h-2018-review
The overlap on the venn diagram of Avensis and Lexus GS is a small one so interesting they're replacing both with two hideously ugly variations on the same car.

Or more likely because Toyota is simplifying its global lineup and has decided to end the Avensis. The market for mid-to-large saloons is shrinking in Europe anyway.
I have to admit that the new Camry does look good from certain angles : https://toyota.jp/pages/contents/camry/008_p_001/nxt/image/top/carlineup_camry_t- op_feature_exterior_1_1_pc.jpg
But not from the front.

Today I saw a MAN van, which looked a little VW-ish, and indeed I see that VW acquired MAN and they made a rebadged Crafter sold as MAN TGE.
However we do not seem to have any MAN van on the site yet.

[...] and indeed I see that VW acquired MAN [...]
It started in fact in december 2008 when MAN took over Volkswagen's Brazilian "Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus". But in 2011 VVW acquired more than 50% of MAN, and since 2013 this latter became a full part of VW's subsidiaries, along with Scania.
I took a picture of one of these MAN vans a few weeks ago. I also saw 2 "new" (unveiled in 2016...) Crafters. But I was on the bike at this time, so I have no picture.
The VW version is apparently also not present for now in the IMCDb.

I wasn't a lot present the last months, and this info may have already been given. Sorry if this this post is redundant.

MAN van sounds like something for single women/gay men, like an ice cream truck for adults. It's jingle could be "It's Raining Men"

I mentioned the Crafter/TGE nearly two years ago, on page 9.

But I haven't seen a single TGE so far. And I don't expect to see many of them, because MAN mostly targets large fleets, rather than individual sales.

It's pronounced M-A-N, officially. But I've always said "man" instead...

The Chevy City Express is officially dead. Dealers were told last year that they were being discontinued and they stopped making them in February. Chevy only sold about half of what Nissan did, and less than a fifth of the Ford Transit Connect. Even the Dodge ProMaster City outsold it.

There's a car dealer in Minnesota that offers conversions of 2014+ Chevy pickups to resemble the old rounded-line style pickups of the 1970s-80s. It started with a trade-in they took that was dark green, they added vinyl appliques to make it 2-tone and added classic badges and logos from the 1970s. They wanted to use it as a promo vehicle, but customer interest lead them to offer a package to convert other pickups. The original conversion is for sale at the dealership.

Was scrolling through Twitter when I saw what I thought was the latest generic car for GTA but it turns out to be a new US market Kia SUV:

We already have a bunch of Bluecar on the site, http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles_make-Bollor%E9_model-Bluecar.html
with these public shared cars in Paris (that are now being decommissioned I think).
Maybe soon we'll have some Bluebus, with movies filmed in Brussels, since the STIB ordered some of these electric buses:

But still the same grey & rust, sorry, silver & copper livery...
Is the BlueBus a completely new design, by the way ? Front end aside, the silhouette reminds me of existing buses.

GM announced today that they are closing several North American plants, which most likely means the end of the line for the models built in them. The plants are the Lordstown, Ohio plant that builds the Chevy Cruze, the Detroit-Hamtramck, Michigan plant that builds the Chevy Volt, Chevy Impala, Cadillac CT6 and Buick Lacrosse, and the Oshawa, Ontario plant that builds the Chevy Impala and Cadillac XTS.
