Opel is probably one of the last brand i would thought about since they are not sold here ( at least, not with their own badge )and i think this one was the 1st one i ever seen ( and its badge is not there... )

The Opel GT was sold in America (USA and CDN) in quite large numbers. Actually the most GT's went to there. And many came back years later. Nowadays our European classic car events are cluttered up not just with US-spec Porsche 914, Mercedes Pagoda, W107, Austin Healey 3000, Karmann-Ghia, Porsche 911 -at least EVERY sporty European car of the 50ies, 60ies and 70ies (plus premium Sedans an all kind of Convertibles)- also with US-spec Opel GT.
