@Purzel89: this happens time-by-time in Germany, too. But Pickups were never that popular here as in America.
Shortly after WWII in the late 40ies it happened, that regualar passenger cars, especially bigger ones were converted to Pickups or trucks (even Horch and Maybach...)
back to topic:
Normally I never remember dreams, but maybe due the fact, that for my trip to Bockhorn 3 weeks ago I had to get up at 4:00 in the night, I remember the dream of that night:
A meeting and exhibition of Reliant Robins and Regals, hold in a dungeon and torture museum.
