Genuine Scooters is a US make selling scooters that are commonly said to be rebadged versions of Indian or Taiwanese scooters imported from the corresponding country but sold only in USA (the company is based in Chicago).
There are for now 16 Genuine Buddy in the IMCDb. Logically, all are set as Model origin: Taiwan, and 3 of them are also noted as Made for USA. But, as explained in this 2010 article,
Isn't that worth a Model origin: USA — Build in Taiwan? Or at least a Model origin Taiwan — Made for USA for all?
For the record, the 5 other Genuine present in the IMCDb (all Stellas) are noted as Model origin: India — Made for: USA.
