This past Sunday was Radwood in Philadelphia, a show dedicated to cars of the 80s and 90s. It attracted mainly the yuppie cars of the era, mainly European and Japanese cars, with some Chrysler K-car derived models, including several rare Euro-spec and JDM cars. Lots of BMWs, Porsches, Benzes and VWs. Japan was represented by Toyota Supras, Mitsubishi sports cars (Starions/Conquests/3000GTs), Integras and Subarus (courtesy of Subaru of America, who's headquarters are across the river in Cherry Hill, NJ). I saw there were over 600 cars.

So what was missing from the 80s/90s? There was a lack of GM cars, only saw a few Camaros, a couple Cutlasses, an El Camino and a Riviera. No A's or J's or X's, B's or C's or H's. No Cadillacs, Saturns or Pontiacs. No pickups, vans or SUVs. No captive imports. It was bizarre.

Ford was slightly more represented, but not by much. No Tauruses, Escorts or Tempos. Just a few Mustangs and one each of Probe, Contour SVT, T-Bird Turbo, LTD CV, Econoline, F-150 and Bronco. The only Mercury was a Colony Park. I don't recall any Lincolns.

Chrysler had several K-cars, Daytonas, CSX Shelby Shadows, a Sundance, a Caravan Turbo, an Omni and Charger GLHS, a Spirit R/T, a Ram Wagon and a Chrysler TC. No LeBaron converbiles or Fifth Avenues or Dynastys.

From Japan, there were no Civics or Camrys that I noticed. There were a couple Accords, Corollas and Celicas. Only saw two Mazdas, one RX-7 and one Miata. There weren't many Nissans/Datsuns. Not many Japanese tuner cars (which I'm fine with).

From Europe, there weren't many Audis, only a few Volvos and Saabs and no Maseratis or US-spec Alfa Romeos or other roadsters (Fiat/MG/Triumph). I did count at least 4 DeLoreans and several Euro-spec Alfas, Citroens and Lancias.

The highlights:

One of the Conquests/Starions, a Euro-spec Alfa Romeo 155 V6, and Audi Quattro coupe:
