I was the one who added those FZJ80 codes a few months ago ! :eek:

I do know J40 & J70 are nearly impossible to identify accurately, with all those engine and wheelbase variations, but it's easier for the J60 & J80. Unless that really bothers someone, I wouldn't mind to re-add them.

For the J-something, as far as I knew we were just using the generic ones :confused:

I'm not sure it has much interest to have more detailed codes, the generic ones are good for separating by generation these models.

Maybe it could be better that we ask you before doing mass changes on Japanese vehicles.
I don't know how we could handle these cases. Maybe have a period of wait between the request and its application?
But to have that workable, there should be some structure, not just posts in a thread here. That's difficult to manage then.
But we could have that at least for mass changes that overwrite existing info.
So one thread for basic/obvious changes (codes that are currently empty for example), and another one for those where input from other members could be needed.
