The script suggested a convertible so I assumed it was one, but it might have been changed shortly before filming, depending on the availability of the picture car, as it was often the case, particularly with rental cars on distant location. This scene was shot in the Napa Valley and not in the usual 30-mile studio zone in Los Angeles.

Chrysler LeBaron sounds pretty convincing, except the 1985 grille. This scene was filmed in the summer of 1982. Maybe a 1982 model or an earlier LeBaron generation?
