I'm not a validating admin, so can only give an opinion and not a verdict, but on the basis of your description I'd vote yes. If it's a well-made and well-known/respected series (and the fact that they made a revival/sequel suggests it was), then it deserves attention. And if it has a recognised status, it stands a chance that a hypothetical visitor to imcdb might want to know about its vehicles.
