www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=1638478 -but is there a reason behind having chassis # info appear with name on thumb page? Makes sense if it's type-code for a model name like BMW 3 [E21] but for a single chassis? Just wondering
It is used on makes for which the chassis codes are well known & used.
For Porsche it is the case for some cars, like 911s, but for some other models it is indeed less relevant.
Maybe it is not useful to have the chassis number directly in that field in such case, maybe just as extra info like #060 ?
