@ingo: It really boggled my mind to see all those cobbled up light fixtures that you have shown here

Unfortunately, I just started my summer semester class for my Computer Engineering major  I can only limit my time upload a few pictures at a time and with the Imageshack's limit time period that I may have pull it off before it disappered :tinostar:

Why still use imageshack? You could use imgur which is much better

About the military trucks and vehicles: although some were used by the DDR-army, they are not DDR-made, mostly from the USSR. Some of them are from the Soviet Army, too...

So in case of the trucks we see there: KrAZ, Tatra 815, Kamaz (possibly 4310), ZiL 131, Jelcz 574Z and next two KrAZes.

plus this ambulance-jeep from the Polish army...

It is Tarpan Honker based.

Here a very mysterious, not understandable incident:

http://img203.imageshack.us/img203/9972/img1954hh.th.jpg http://img607.imageshack.us/img607/1737/img1959w.th.jpg http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/3659/img1960x.th.jpg

You see roundabout 250 years of K 70-experience on these pics (I can recalculate it, but it should be correct) - but afterwards the car was even more broken! How can that happen???

P.S. @rjluna2: it's the H4-version.

Here my pics from yesterday at http://oldtimermarkt-bockhorn.com/ , specially made for IMCDb-fellows.
There was only the possibility to catch the highlights. It's absolutely impossible to reach all the topics completely, for those a classic car freak went there, as looking for spares, spotting interesting cars, chatting with old fellows and acquaintances plus enjoying the atmosphere. Especially yesterday it was extremely crowded, with visitors and even more with classic cars (with a car older than 1980 you have an free access on the ground, so it's a mixture between a spare-part-market, a classic car meeting, a classic car rallye (in Sunday), a meeting of the North-West-German classic car scene and a kind of open air party.

For an_unusual_eye:

http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/891/img2036lr.jpg

Asked price 2300 €, it was stored untouched in the garage for 10 years, the technic shall be fine, but the body needs work.

For Weasel and 130rapid:

@dsl: the loo-desinfection-stone coloured (family-slang for such a bright turqoise) car on the right I've already photographed last year.

For rjluna2, with a question to atom: as these blue lighrs were offered by a Swedish dealer, are they for Swedish police cars? Never seen here.

More for rjluna2:

Yes, the German law demands, that blue lights have to be covered, when the car is not in official usage any more

for walter this pic with the story of the moron of the day. I took both items -normally placed among the other stuff on the table and asked for the price. The answer was: "No, I don't sell it extra. You only can get this plate and the price-sign together with the 1975' Audi 80 GTE, I am offering, too.
What an idiot!

Ingo, I have never seen such blue lights on any police car. The police used lights similar to these in the sixties but with red glass but after the change over to blue lights in the seventies I think they only used lemonade mixer types.

The Syrena (it is 105 L) was for sale?
I like how some of these cars are a bit dusty, it adds them more charm.

@Weasel: no. On the paper-sheets was only something written about the history of the Syrena, about the model, not this specific car.

It was not a bit dusty, it was real dusty in Saturday. It hasn't rained there since a while, it was sunny summer weather, and several thousand of cars (minimum 3000 classic cars) and several thousands of visitors (over 20.000 in 2012, this year even more) have caused a lot of dust.
When I left in the evening, I had to rinse off the windscreen.

Nice  I think it might be the modern version Self Ballasted Mercury Vapor Lamp that would work directly to the mains

As soon as I can to upload this specimen to the Lighting Gallery website, someone would know better than I do
