Yes, like one or two sentences. "Limousine appears at 1 hour 38 minutes into film," or less specifically "in the second half."
Something to reduce the amount of "spotting time" only in the case where the vehicle is not integral to the plot. Is this better (?)
10/04/2008 @ 00:55:08: antp: Movies without cars
Well, in nearly all pics that I post there is a time-tag indicating when the car appears (same for pics posted by Coopey).
And then the star-rating indicates quite well how much time/how long the car appears.

Oh, I know what you mean now. But I mean if someone thinks they've seen the film, but don't have it recorded to use for making captures. Then a person doesn't have to wait through the entire film, unless they want to. (I do watch films without cars, don't get me wrong, there.
)

I'm sorry. I understand perfectly now. There's no change necessary in the case I describe. Someone makes a page with no pictures/blank thumbnails, and then enters comments below describing how and when the uncaptured vehicles are depicted in the film. After my third cup of coffee today, this stuff is starting to make sense.

I was ready to click "Only if movie could contain cars" until I saw the part about not mentioning western/sci-fi/etc. The trouble with that is that some Westerns & Sci-Fi movies and other titles do include cars. For sci-fi, you've got Demolition Man and the Star Trek episode "A Piece of the Action." For westerns, you've got The Shootist, one of the "Gambler" TV-Movies, and I even saw a car in an old episode of The Gene Autry Show recently.
12/04/2008 @ 18:03:50: antp: Movies without cars
Well, of course some contain cars. But we won't list Starwars just because Startrek contains cars, for example
When you watch such movie you do not expect car, so someone who sees that it is not listed on the site will think "there is no car in it" rather than "they did not list it yet", which is normal.

Antp, I don't know if you've seen Battlestar Galactica before but early in the second season (with no cars being in the first) the characters drive a military Hummer. I wonder if it's worth it to make pages for movies or tv shows that have very limited vehicles either?
13/04/2008 @ 13:35:13: CarChasesFanatic: Movies without cars
Sure they are, as long as there's a car to be listed it can be listed, it doesnt matter if in a whole serie that lasted many years there's only one or two cars... this is a good example:
http://www.imcdb.org/movie.php?id=192877
Those are the only cars that appeared in that series that lasted from 1999 to 2006, but if there are cars they should be listed... doesnt matter if there a just two or three and the series lasted ten years...

I haven't seen that season yet, I only saw the first one I think.

Of course it is worth. It is maybe even more worth listing these than for a normal movie, since it is interesting to mention that even in such series you can find cars
e.g. in scifi series "Stargate SG-1" there are lots of cars because their base is on earth so there are often episodes hapening on earth rather than other planets,
http://www.imcdb.org/movie.php?id=118480
But in "Stargate Atlantis" the series is set in a far away galaxy, but they still managed to have cars in an episode... + a small vehicle that was carried with them from earth

Antp, well I did my best to post a picture of the Hummer in Battlestar Galactica in the contributions page. The scene happens fast and I'm not sure if the picture is too blurry?
13/04/2008 @ 16:57:38: antp: Movies without cars
It seems good
13/04/2008 @ 23:58:57: 93_Montero: Movies without cars
Just to let you know, I realized the Hummer was first seen in episode 2 of Season 2 not episode 4. I made the corrections on the contribution page. I'll be continuing to watch the season and add any other vehicles but there probably won't be many at all.

What about Lukes X-34 Landspeeder in Star Wars: A New Hope? (Also in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace)
It's said to be based on a Reliant Robin.

That's too far from a normal vehicle to be listed.
It could eventually be mentioned in the comments for trivia/anecdote...
28/04/2008 @ 13:41:04: vilero: Movies without cars
One question may be connected with this post. How can I find cars and/or movies with no images to display, like, for example, in this capture
There is a concrete link or search way for it?
28/04/2008 @ 14:17:03: antp: Movies without cars
No, it is not possible. I couldn't even add this easily, unfortunately.
What I could do on the other hand is a list of movies without contributors: most of these probably do not have images.
Another solution until then is to check all cars list and find those without pics, but there are few thousands of car pages
28/04/2008 @ 14:17:23: CarChasesFanatic: Movies without cars
No Vilero, at least not for the moment, you just look for a car and you see in how many movies it is listed, and in that list, you will see in which movies the photo is missing.
28/04/2008 @ 14:19:03: CarChasesFanatic: Movies without cars
You beat me to it Antoine

Thanks for your both quickly answers

I'll try to find some time to do that on friday/saturday
Which Friday/Saturday?
Don't want to rush you, just asking so that I don't miss its introduction.
