I now introduce to you a game of IMCDb True or False

IMCDb True or False Game Rules:

Rule (1)
Whoever gets the answer right starts the game over ...
Exmaple:
Player X asks a T or F question
Player Y gets the question correct
Player Y asks a T or F question
Game continues ...

Rule (2)
Don’t ask awfully hard questions, which will slow the game. However if for some reason the question still has not had a correct answer, give the answer, then ask a different question to move the game forward.

Rule (3)
The T or F questions must be Vehicle and\or Movie oriented (as that is what IMCDb is about)

It’s a simple game to challenge our knowledge, and I figured it could be fun and also help us learn more about vehicle and movie trivia.

I will start off with a easy question to get the game moving.

Question:
In the 1993 film version of Jurassic Park, the electric tour vehicles were Ford Explorers. In the book version the tour vehicles were Toyota Land Cruisers. True or False?

16/10/2007 @ 04:01:33: 02Silverado4x4: IMCDb True or False
False?
16/10/2007 @ 09:54:09: antp: IMCDb True or False
I remember that in the book it was Toyota, and I guess that these were Land Cruiser, so I'd say True.
Next question should come immediately, or should the one that asked the question first confirm the answer?

Sure, and you got the correct answer, so you start off with a new T or F question of your choice.

"The Junkman" movie helds the record of the biggest number of cars destroyed in a pile-up for a movie, true or false?
17/10/2007 @ 02:08:50: MBSL65fan: IMCDb True or False
False. It was the Blues Brothers in 1980. Correct?
17/10/2007 @ 02:28:28: Neptune: IMCDb True or False
I think its False too. But the answer is "The Matrix Reloaded", right?
17/10/2007 @ 11:37:59: antp: IMCDb True or False
Matrix is not a pile up.
It is indeed Blues Brothers, but the new one with about 60 cars, that replaced the 1980 one for the same record.
Note that Junkman has another similar record: the record of number of cars destroyed in a movie, with about 150. But this is along the movie, and not in one pile up scene.

Okay, so now I have to ask a question right? Okay, in Casino Royale, The Aston Martin DBS crash broke the world record for the most roll overs with an impressive 12 rolls.
18/10/2007 @ 01:22:16: wickey: IMCDb True or False
false - there were less rolls
18/10/2007 @ 03:19:00: MBSL65fan: IMCDb True or False
Correct. The DBS did beat the world record, but it only rolled 7 times. Your turn Wickey.

In Knight Rider, in all scenes, where Kitt drives by himself, the car was radio-contolled operated. True or False?

I would think the exterior scenes just used black tinted or painted windows, right? So false, I guess. Or else they hired a short person. I got a good one to use if I'm right!
19/10/2007 @ 23:29:23: wickey: IMCDb True or False
it is false, but your explanation is not right - they dressed up a guy like a seat!

Oh, yeah, I forgot! Well anyway, In From Russia with Love, the Ford station wagon that Bond rides in gains 2 more doors during his journey. T/F?

I think that wickey still gets to ask another question since nobody gave the right answer, right?

Anyways, I think that the answer to the "From Russia With Love" question is false.
20/10/2007 @ 06:34:06: Neptune: IMCDb True or False
If you remember True/False questions in school, if the question was false you would be required (in some tests) to write the correct answer in order to make the question or statement true. So if he didn’t give the right answer, then wickey must ask another question. Does this help?
20/10/2007 @ 06:37:48: ford_guy: IMCDb True or False
Thanks Neptune, that cleared it up

I did not see that the answerer needed to provide explanation, but the answer to the question I put forward was true. It seems the filmakers chose not to show Bond climbing out from behind the front seat. I read this in a collector car magazine. My apologies.
