It has the same zip-file as The Cappicino Years, that seems not correct

Correct. My apologies. I have now sent the correct zip file.

I haven't seen them yet, but I understand there were two seperate series, the second one called "The Growing Pains of Adrian Mole" (based on the second book), so should we create a seperate page for that one? It's not listed on IMDB, but that's because IMDB is rather vague with some TV programs, they don't have much information on them (the site is more oriented towards film than TV). In fact should we call the Adrian Mole adaptations mini series rather than TV series? Although the term mini series isn't really used in British TV, I think the difference between a mini-series and "TV series" is that the miniseries has a specific story (often based on novels) to tell and only intend to have a specific number of episodes, whereas with a "TV series" they initially make one season/series and produce more based on the success of the show. When I did the House of Cards series, because each series of 4 episodes had different titles (based on seperate novels), I didn't want to lump them all together in one page. How many episodes does each Adrian Mole series have and how long is each episode?

Was Growing Pains made by the same people with the same cast? Did the second series have Growing Pains as a title?

The title was Growing Pains, although made by the same people. The opening credits song has the same title, although with slightly different lyrics to fit in with the book. Cast are the same except Lulu replaces Julie Walters as Adrian's Mum

Um, I added more to my message (I have a habit of doing this), could you answer the question at the end of the first big paragraph? Thanks.

Apologies G-Mann! Secret Diary is 7 episodes, Growing Pains is 6 episodes and Cappuccino Years is 6 episodes. Each episode is 30 minutes.

By the way which program did you use to get stills off the DVDs? I use PowerDVD, which gives me 720x404 size images (which is the largest size allowed on this site). I think it came with my DVD drive, I don't how you would get it otherwise.

Sorry, G-Mann, just spotted your question. I use Intervideo WinDVD 4 which came with my computer. I then use XnView to get the files to the right size and change then to JPEG

What size are the captures at first? When I paste captures into Paint Shop Pro, their default size is 720x576, so with widescreen images I convert them to the correct aspect ratio (720x404).

They come out at 960x576. However, they are also bitmap files, at about 1600kb each, whih is obviously far too large.
