Some impressions from my US road trip in July:

Doritos truck with old livery. Spotted in Indiana:

I'm angry, that I've failed that motif: a truck with the adverstise on the side "Cool. The new Saab 9-3 Cabriolet"

Last Saturday on the Autobahn A2 direction Hannover/Berlin. I couldn't see, from which country this truck was.

Obviously in 2nd hand usage - sights you often can make in Africa, Near and Middle East and also on South-East Europe. In 1994 I made a bus ride in Albania - in a bus I maybe have sit in before. Its first owner was the bus company in Hannover, my grammar school rented the buses for school excursions.

Fortunately I didn't made such experiences with paranoic morons (I mean the reactions, not the second owners):

Half an hour ago I saw a 1988-94 Chevrolet Cavalier convertible (in red and black) on the opposing lane.

@ingo: IIRC, the head of Toyota in the US was hauled before a Congressional committee to answer questions about Toyota vehicles used by ISIS.

Seen today in the local grocery parking lot . Kind of survivor in the 2-door form if you consider the fact that many got abused over the years, no matter the number of doors... I know it is at least a 1986 by CHMSL but not really more than that...

Edit : Thanks to karoomay's comment, i know now it is a 1986-1987

Oh wow ! I haven't seen one of those in years ! And it's in great shape. I hope the owner doesn't sell it to a teenager with a baseball cap who'll drop the suspension to the ground, put day-glo red fake BBS wheels, an old-skool roof rack, tint the headlights in yellow, and wash the hood in acid to get instant rust. :mareek:

I sure hope not !

I was really surprised about the fact that it was a 2-doors. I see some 4 doors from time to time but the coupe , not in a loooong time . And i got lucky too, i took the pic while getting back to my car ( also saw a New Brunswick plated 2015 Sonata seconds before i took the pics ) and all the time i was in the grocery store i was thinking : i hope it still there, i didn't saw any rear door handles..then another part of my brain came in and said : naaa.. 2 doors are all gone now..can't be one !

I don't have any pictures up yet, but last night I actually saw a Nissan Figaro... Not in a magazine or on a website, but in real life in the USA at a car show. And I was one of the few people there who recognized it.

Don't like how does it look (compared to "Seven"), but like how this one sounds.

Today's 2 x Nysa - models 522 M and 522 T - private company sightseeing vehicles. They named the yellow one "Aldona" and pink one "Balonowa" in refference to "guma balonowa" - bubble gum - it fits it, but IMHO less than something like "Piggy":

Last weekend my godchild has visited me. Besides themain topic for him
(http://www.schalke04.de/de/aktuell/news/160814_schalke_tag_zusammenfassung/page/- 8220--10-213-.html)

I've also visted with him the

the biggest funfair in Northrhine-Westphalia.

Accidentally we had been there on that Saturday, a smaller show of the classic vehicles, owned by the fairgound people was held. Some others were shown by a local tractor- and truck-club.
Not a really large show, but I catched several motifs.

The following Sunday at forenoon, I've spotted these cars during just the few minutes, we had been at a bakerman in the next village.

For my 12-year-old godchild the Audi was most fascinating (his father, uncle, grandfather and bigger brother are except K 70-fans also Audi-freaks
He ran over the street to cath with his smartphone the Audi's engine sound.

When I took the pic of the fiat, the owner came from the bakerman, a woman slightly older than me and -of course- we started the typical smalltalk between classic car drivers.
I told her, that I noticed the unusal rims. 20-25 years ago he and her husband strolled in Italy over the junkyards. Back then you could find loads of such stuff there.

Like the Audi too...

went to get grocery and saw a nice 1983-1985 Toyota Tercel Wagon in pretty decent shape... but no pic as i couldn't get close enough to it and then it turned right...

Nice to see that some survived, always liked it ( even have a Majorette one )

Seen today... so unusual here that i still need one hand to count the one i saw ( or remember seeing ) . I even thought it was a pick-up, then even took it for a Ford Raptor with his black grille.. :heink: :halalala: ..... but as it came closer i finally realized that it was way much rarer than expected... can't give a MY range as i don't know them enough but now that my brain came back from his coffee break, i can say it is a Land Rover Defender 110

Also saw another rarity some 10-15 mins later ( a Saab 9-2X ) but no pic, driving...
