The first one is an early Mercury Tracer, based off the Mazda 323 [BF] with the Australian Ford Laser body.

It was 1987-1988 survivor day here today with those two examples

Nice finds.....even here in (mostly) rust-free Southern California, you almost never see Dodge/Plymouth cars from the 80s. There is one Plymouth Reliant K/Dodge Aries K sedan near here, though....

funny that you mention K cars because there was one across the boulevard where i took the Shadow's pic. There is a good chance it is the same i previously posted ( same grocery store as the Shadow and its not like there was dozens of them... ) . I did not took a pic because of zoom problems with my camera..


just checked with Google Earth and yep, the Reliant is the same

So the Shadow was available with small sealed beam headlights ? I thought only the Euro-spec Chrysler ES had them, and the US-spec cars had flush headlights.

Flush headlights came with the 1989 facelift

I'll work on grabbing the Toyota Sera images later on, but for now, here's me during my tween years in the driver's seat of a Triumph TR7 at a late-1970's New York International Auto Show.

1967-72 model indeed. Apparently a 2WD truck, with a 1969+ hood and fender emblem. This latter says 10, which sounds logical for a short box model: at least a 1969-72 "short" C-10.

RX-7 is one of its competitors, mid to late 80's Nissan 300ZX Turbo ( more easier to see when the rear is shown.. )

not sure about the MY range for the Cressida because of the pic's size ( or i'm getting too old.. )

edit for the 300ZX : after a little google run, mid 80's is more plausible

The Cressida is from the 1985-88 generation.

The old black car looks like a Mercury with the Breezeway roofline.

The Mercedes wagon is a 300TD, the only W123 version they imported.

The horizontal "egg-crate" fender louver makes it a 1970-72 model.

You are not the only person who has some graying hair as well
