@Maetesmann: am I right, that this car is not unknown for you, an US police-car, located in Nordrhein-Westfalen?

P.S. It's a page, where you can present you vehicles for film-/movie-productions. Perhaps we can find some of them somewhere at IMCDB.

Perhaps in that music-clip http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=UKi16FW66I0 you can see that car: http://www.film-autos.com/fundus/fahrzeug/index.php?fz_id=402 (I'm a bit unsure, if the foglamps came later. The clips was made in 2002.

Hmmm. They don't have a K 70 and no Bundeswehr-Omega. Perhaps I should list my cars, too.

I took two pics of this truck roughly five years ago, and fused them as one.

It's a 6-Door International, but I don't remember if it was a 3800, or some other model.

Saw a black Alfa Romeo 156 today. Pretty sure it had BC plates. Very strange.
Less strange: 2 R32 Skylines; a red sedan with a GT-R nose, and a white coupe.

This isn't really so unusual, but years ago, I saw this decal on the back of a Honda Elememt, which is the same color as one owned by my brother. I thought he'd get a big kick out of it. I was wrong.

Yesterday when i went to the mall i saw a brand new Renault Mégane 3, i've seen four counting this one already but only one properly pakred on the street, the others were on trucks

I saw this pristine 1970s Honda Civic a few weeks ago:

Yesterday I thought about IMCDB, when I drove to work.
A few minutes after I saw a towing truck, based on that mid-60ies-truck (still in use for an IVECO-garage!):

I was passed by girl in a late 80ies Honda Accord.

On August 12, I took some pictures of a truck I saw on Florida SR 48 in Bushnell, Florida.

It's a self-customized mid-1970's Dodge B-300 former mini-motor home turned into a fifth-wheel trailer tow vehicle. This guy has been trying to sell them both for a long time.

However, in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Spring Hill, Florida, there was something a lot more unusual on November 20, 2008.

An early-1980's VW Vanagon Camper, possibly even a Synchro VW Vanagon. What makes it so unusual(at least in the USA) is the limited number of windows.
13/12/2008 @ 21:44:42: ingo: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
I'd say, it's a selfmade camper-conversion. Basicially it's a Transporter, not a Bus, Vanagon or Multivan, because of the missing side-windows.
I don't know any VW Campers, which are based on a Transporter, except the canopy-camper-kits, which were made for the Pick Up and the "DoKa", the double-cabin-Pick Up.

If it's a syncro, I cannot exactly say. The chassis looks higher, but perhaps that from a syncro is a bit higher, not exactly to identify.

It looks like the European version, am I right? Anyways, was the Transporter-version ever officially exported to the USA?
13/12/2008 @ 22:50:47: Ddey65: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
I'd say it's self-made too, and I wouldn't be surprised if this were an import. I didn't wait around and ask the driver about it(although I've done this kind of thing before). I honestly don't remember if there were any commercial versions available in the US, but I know VW of America stopped importing pickups after 1971, single or double cab. Every now and then, however you'll see some VW enthusiast with one.

Today I had seen two interesting things.

At first I was passed by a Passat Variant with a BN-(Bonn)-plate, followed with a Mercedes E-Klasse from Cologne, both were driving with very high speed. Usually nothing special, but the Passat had a blue-police-light in Kojak-style on the roof, both cars had quite dark coloured side-windows and both cars were full with 4 persons each, also quite loaded (low over the ground).
I thought, if there some special police-forces or even the legendary GSG 9 perhaps were in business.

Later on I saw something real rare, a (probably quite new) Plymouth Van. Normally Plymouth was never ever sold officially in Germany. I'd looked to the car because of its airbrush-paintings on the front and back hoods. I couldn't recognize the model-badge (something with "family" or so??)
18/12/2008 @ 08:42:13: BlackIce_GTS: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
Couldn't have been that new, the Voyager (looks like this) was discontinued in 2000, and Plymouth itself was defunct a year later.

Today I saw more Fiat's at one time. I'd passed a dozen of Polish trucks, loaded with 500's and a few Panda's.

A bit later there were three Kia Sorrento's in the other direction - all painted with yellow and black squares and with "Follow me"-signs.

They must be for an airport.

Just great, i love it :bave:

I find the 1997+ model ugly :ohwell:
On the other hand, I really like the pre-1997 model, with the thin headlights.
23/12/2008 @ 19:48:03: CarChasesFanatic: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
You find the newer one ugly just because of the headlights? i'd understand you'd prefer the old on because of those details but i dont think they changed as much as to say they went ugly
23/12/2008 @ 20:06:29: antp: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
I find the new one ugly because of the grille and new headlights.

One thing that I liked in the old one was the headlights.

old one on the left (that I like)
new one on the right (that I do not like)
23/12/2008 @ 20:09:53: CarChasesFanatic: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
Honestly i like both.
