Saw a 1983 Toyota Tercel DX (DD77017) this morning on my way to school. Not an everyday sight on the west-side of Oslo.

Every thursday, some local car club near me gathers to show off their antiques, hot rods, and other odd vehicles in the parking lot of a shopping center off of the Spring Hill border. On November 5, 2009, one of those collectors brought over a Front-engined second generation Chevrolet Corvair!
I'm only showing you the direct link, because I forgot to resize the images before uploading them.

There
were other cars and trucks there, of course.

Today I got a letter from Sweden - on the stamp is a Volvo Amazon with camping-trailer.
There are no SAAB-stamps? With added welfare-fees, as it's usual for the youth, the nature keeping or Olympia?

nice !
As stamp collector (though that I haven't really cared about it since years - I just put stamps in boxes, I should add them to my albums) and car enthusiast I could try to get these

No problem, I'll will bring it to Antwerpen
In Germany there was a stamp for "50 Jahre Wankel" with a RO 80 on it. And in 2006 there was a stamp for 50 years of teh actual German license-plates. The motives were taken from a collector's friend.
I've collected stamps a bit, long ago, when I was a school boy. I remember, that I had some sets with different car-stamps. But I think, I gave them away long time ago...

When I was collecting "actively", when I was kid, my grandfather gave me lots of stamps, as he was collecting too.
Now I have his collection (as he died few years ago) but I still haven't opened the boxes
It would take me lots of time to sort all what is waiting in boxes.
I should first focus on making (grand)children, to be someone to give these stamps later

ingo-can you get a set of those for me? I can get dad to paypal you. I'll have to ask him, but as we both collect stamps (yes, us to, as well as coins, notes, 1st day covers, etc.).

From what I understood, he just had one stamp like that on a letter he received - you would rather have to ask to a Swedish guy if you want the full set... (I could ask too

)

@marioman, @Antoine: no problem, I'll ask the guy. He probably will be helpful - he need K 70-parts from me.
Unfortunately I cannot offer stuff from my own childhood-stamp-"collection" any more. Some weeks ago I've send the rest to a guy, who collects many things (VW 1600-stuff, vinyl-discs, stamps etc.), for swapping it for some license-plates...
btw. The swap-partner was the IMCDB-member "Kleinteile". His posting there:
http://imcdb.org/vehicle_36412-Volkswagen-1600-L-Typ-31-1969.html has waken up my interest.
@marioman: you and your father, do you have special interest-areals in stamps, coins, notes or FDC's? My father-in-law still has same stamps. I can look for them. I've tried to sell them at eBay, but I've seen, that stamp-collecting is -sorry for you- a "dead" hobby. There is no interest any more for it. 20-25 years ago it was much different.

Yes, I'll have to ask dad. But we mainly collect Aussie stamps, as well as ones we like the look of (mostly that is transport.) But one of my dads workmates has a massive stamp collection, he may want it. I'll find out when I see dad next (he's at work.)

I think a '68 Chevelle. I wonder where he is traveling to?

Normally I don't look for modern American cars (resp.modern cars at all), but last Saturday I've noticed in Roermond/NL a Chrysler Sebring Convertible with German plates. I made a 50:50-deal with the driver - he bought my 2 €-parking ticket for 1 €

Long time ago I saw a VW Iltis from Belgiam army, actually a Bombardier Iltis:

I saw another one few days ago, this time I made a photo of the badge
(my colleagues asked why I was taking a picture of that "Jeep"

)
I saw this Civic that I did not recognize at first sight:
Is it the normal Euro Civic ? Or is it a model from another market? Or a special version?
And this evening, this coupé that I did not recognize:
