A few minutes later a small convoi of three silvermetallic Skoda Octavia's, all with totally black windows.
The had the Ukrainian license-plates BC 4426 AX, BC 4427 AX and BC 4428 AX.

Not sure what year it was. I think it was possibly a 67 or a 68. But look at the work on it. Sorry for the crappy cell phone picture.

Today I saw a Vovlo 360GTL and a brand new Volvo C30
31/05/2008 @ 08:49:52: antp: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
I guess that the 360 is less common in Australia than here in Europe (though that it must be long time since I saw one...)

A propos Dutch Volvo's:
I was very surprised when I saw in 1988 in Vancouver/Canada (I was there on school-exchange) a Volvo 343 standing on a supermarket-parking. I knew, that it was not officially exported there.
And I was irritated, why it had a plenty of round buckles on top of the whole body. Finally I found out the reason - a small sticker of München. So this Volvo was a survivor of that day:

(and was brought later to Canada for any reason).

This 2007 Ferrari 599 GTB was the car in attendance at the local St. Louis European Auto Show that I found myself lusting over the most:
I am still partial to the styling of some of the older Ferraris:
Apparently a Sammy Hagar fan:
Like in Vacation:
and like in the new Miami Vice:
Lotus Esprit (almost like in Pretty Woman) :
Audi R8 like in Iron Man:
Bugatti Veyron, I thought it would be neater, it is actually rather strange looking in person:
I was hoping to see a Countach, but no such luck:
A pretty sharp Renault Alliance:
Another uncommon sight in these parts:
Apparently this is an unrestored 1939 BMW 327/8 Cabriolet that was in attendance:

Yesterday a car like an Excalibur, but bigger I think, was passing our village.
It had a plate from Bavaria (FFB).
Because the driver was acting in the stye "aah, guys, watch me", I demonstratetively haven't looked to him.

You mean "I demonstratively ignored him" (or "I deliberately ignored him"). Just thought I'd help you out with your English there.

Saw a Citroen DS in white on the way home today. It looked nice.

I saw a Chevrolet Trans Sport today. I do not recall having seen the Chevrolet version previously, it seems that here in Belgium they sold it mostly as Pontiac. But as it was said on the site comments some time ago, that Chevrolet version existed in Europe, at least in France.

Today I saw a US-Chevrolet, which I've nver seen before. I was a very big red convertible (probably on SUV-base), the badge was SS-R, if I'm right.
It looks strange, awful you can say. Like the rubber-cars I was playing with in the bathtub, when I was a kindergarten-child.

You saw Chevrolet SSR indeed, its a convertible pick up Ingo, i dont find it ugly, i find it original, yesterday i saw my first HHR on the road, i also saw an american Honda Accord of the nineties

You saw Chevrolet SSR indeed,
Those were built in my town! They discontinued them a few years ago due to lack of sales. They were horrible cars in many ways. Firstly, they were WAAAY more expensive than they should have been. Secondly, they weighed over 5000 pounds! That, coupled with its massive engine yielded horrible fuel economy. Around 10 or 12 MPG I think it was. And third, as far as a truck is concerned, it did not tow or haul nearly as good as other cheaper, more practical trucks like the silverado, or even the Colorado.
Oh yeah, and in case you didn't know, they also make the Cadillac CTS, STS, and SRX in my town too! That might have even been the same plant the SSR was made in, I can't remember.
yesterday i saw my first HHR on the road,

Which generation CCF? '90-'93 or '94-'97 or '98-'02?
07/06/2008 @ 02:09:57: CarChasesFanatic: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
I find the HHR nice and original as well, its a different-looking van, the Accord by the way was a 90-93

I saw the DS again yesterday, I think its a '68 and it was on LPG!
