Another shot of the truck here. No insignia on the tailgate.

And nothing on the cowl either, except for the side-marker on the hood. If I was able to get a better shot from inside the cab, I would've showed you the plain cog-and-lightning bolt floor mats.

I saw a Pontiac Solstice Coupe last week; first one of those I've seen. Only about 1200 were sold before Pontiac was taken out back behind the barn.
I saw a Chevrolet Captiva the other day with Maryland license plates. It confused me until I got back to a computer and looked it up; I'd either missed or completely forgotten about the announcement that they were going to start selling them here to fleet buyers:

Also, last night on the news there was a brief story of a police chase in DC involving a Lincoln Blackwood

Seen this morning, A Ford Taurus with diplomatic plates, picture taken with my cell phone.
A few days ago I saw ago a yellow Scion xB (sold here rebadge as Daihatsu Materia only, but it was the American Scion version for sure) that I already saw previously, but I still couldn't take a picture

I saw a Volkswagen CrossGolf today. Don't think that was sold here but this one was RHD and UK registered (LS57 xxx). I'll see if I can get a picture if it is still there tomorrow.

Another old Spring Hill Car Show, this time from May 13, 2010. This one has a Lincoln Continental Town Coupe from the 1970's.
I'll get others.

A test mule I saw the other day. GG would be Groß-Gerau? Not sure which car company would have cars registred there. It was driving from the Saab factory area, I took this picture not far from there.
19/03/2012 @ 16:46:56: Sandie: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
IIRC most Opel factory cars are registered GG so probably one of their mules.
Depends on how big it was but it might be the forthcoming Mokka crossover.

Strange sighting some days ago in a local scrapyard:
An almost complete Saturn VUE, but I really don't understand how it ended here

I see one everyday in a street I take to go to work, with a diplomatic license plate. I suppose that a few were imported by private people (diplomats who had their car in USA and, because the service was offered to them, simply said they wanted to keep their car from home, like those imported for people working on Army bases). And when they do not want to keep these, nobody wants to buy such car which is probably difficult to repair here.

A nice '79 Derby LS I saw today:

A Dino 308 GT4
07/04/2012 @ 20:08:08: antp: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
and an Acura, not sold here in Belgium, US import I guess (it has a EU-worker plate)
Note the foglight added under the bumper (mandatory for here)
08/04/2012 @ 12:17:21: ingo: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
The plate of the Dino is much older than the car. Is the year of its issue identifyable?
Not only the "CH"-sticker shwos, that it was imported from Switzerland, also the size of the plate-holder (black recycling-plastic, so at lest until the late 80ies it ran there) and the missing Belgian fog light.
About the Acura: was where any official export to any European country? AFAIK not.
08/04/2012 @ 12:34:58: antp: interesting/funny/special cars sightings
Plate is 1951-1961 but I do not know when that particular series was issued.
So probably an old guy who brought it from Switzerland
For the Acura, indeed I could say "Europe".
