How would we go with having short (say less trhan 1 min) clips featuring chases or crashes from a film included on a movie's page

Depends where these come from.
If they are well known short movies listed on IMDB, why not, we already have some.
Else it is case by case that it would have to be decided.

No, what I meant was as well as car pics captured from movies, why not a short clip of a chase scene or crash, to add to that movies page

hmm, do you mean something like mentioning the car action sequences from a movie? because i dont think you mean re-adding the cars used in these type of sequences, it would be pointless since they will be there already so there's no point on uploading them twice, so what do you mean exactly?

I mean where we have a car listed in a movie page and that car is for example used in a chase scene, we could have a short clip of the chase as well as the photo of the car.

And where would you host that video?
Youtube? You can put the link in the comments, but sometimes they delete these videos

How do you convert a DVD clip to a .wmv file to upload it to Youtube?

We can see the short clippings of car chasing scenes in some movies. In some movies these scenes occupies a place of more than a minute.
