The only 607, I remember, is a light green metallic Coupé, which belongs to a neighbour of my mother-in-law.
My wife's uncle is a convinced Citroen-driver. He likes the comfort - and the reliability. Hard to believe, but he said, that he's Citroen-driver since over 30 years (CX, than XM and since last year a C5), and he never had a breakdown. Even the use of a horse-trailer hasn't caused any problems during the years.

My father never had any problem with the '91 XM that he had for 1½ year, but the guy who got the car after him had lots of problems (according to my father, that guy was driving too slowly for such car
)
About the 607, what do you mean by a coupé?
Btw I saw a silver/light blue 607 today.

Yes, today I saw my first 607, a silver one at a petrol station. If it hadn't been for this thread, I wouldn't have taken any notice.

I've happened to see one today too at the car park next to my building

Have a look at this
10/06/2008 @ 23:19:23: taxiguy: European Cars
what is that?
10/06/2008 @ 23:44:17: CarChasesFanatic: European Cars
An Opel Insignia, do you like it or not?
11/06/2008 @ 03:00:01: taxiguy: European Cars
Ah, that is the replacement for the Vectra if I am not mistaken? Which probably means we will get a version of that as the second generation Saturn Aura and maybe even as Malibu and G6.
As far as if I like it... I'm not so sure.
This is the same car, right? It looks kind of Malibu-ish in the front.
This view makes it looks ok I guess, but I am not fond of that sweeping body crease on the side. The rear reminds me of a Mercedes.
I don't know, it just seems a little too angular for me.
But at least it has an respectable amount of rear overhang for its size, which is my main issue with newer cars.
Boy, I sure sound like a design critic right now don't I?

My suspicions are confirmed, the US will indeed be getting this car in the next few years, in quite a few different versions too. As quoted from wikipedia:
The Epsilon II will be used in the following vehicles:
2008 Opel Insignia
2009 Saab 9-5
2010 Buick LaCrosse
2011 Saturn Aura
2011 Pontiac G6
2012 Chevy Malibu

Well i quite like it and yes, it is the replacement for the Vectra, rumor had it that they wanted to sell it in USA as Saturn, i dont know how true this is right now

Geuss what? A guy, just down the road from me has a charcoal 607. It is really nice looking
11/06/2008 @ 09:07:49: taxiguy: European Cars
Why don't you take a picture marioman?
11/06/2008 @ 16:48:36: ingo: European Cars
@antp: isn't the 607 also available as a Coupé?
Or should I have confused it with a 407?
11/06/2008 @ 17:13:04: antp: European Cars
I guess you confuse with the 407, yes...
12/06/2008 @ 07:36:36: marioman3138: European Cars
I will if I see it again, I looked tonight, but it wasn't parked there. I hope I just wasn't a guy visting...

If I find one again at 3 € or so, I can buy it and send it to you
Maybe I'll go next week where I found mine, so if I find another one I'll get it.
Unfortunately I did not find a 607
So this will maybe be for a next time, unless you find one on Ebay for a good price.

It's ok I'm in no hurry, thanks for checking though.
Maybe next time
