Animatronixx an me had this idea, when we met some months ago on an oldtimer-market in Duisburg.

I had a suggestion for next weekend and annother one for beginning of March:

Duisburg is a bit too far away for me.

@ville84: in Duisburg we just have met us randomly, because it was a oldtimer-market, we both had visited.
btw., this market in Duisburg is not worth to make a long trip for it. I'm just living nearby. For classic car-freaks and automobilia-collectors there are much bigger and more important events.

Unfortunately it seems, that I cannot come to Antwerpen tomorrow. :sad:

Except that Animatronixx has obviously no time either, my wife's Astra is broken, so she takes my Omega. And I don't want to take my K 70 in the winter-weather. This is the next point, today and next weekend the winter is coming back in this area. :angry:

If the Astra will be ready this afternoon, maybe I'll go tomorrow morning, but I'm not sure.

Anyways, I will be at annother event of the same organizator in one month: http://www.siha.de/tce.php
We are the only club, which will be on the big VW-stand (the other VW-clubs will be on the upper floor with own presentations.
Due the fact, that VW is sponsoring us, I'm not busy with the organization, building and mounting as in the years before, where our club has been there. So I'm just busy to be a decoration object. :bogoss:

If someone of you want to visit the event, too, let me know. Maybe we can arrange a little meeting there. And there could be a chance, that I can smuggle single people inside with our exhibitor's cards. The last years we could arrange it somehow. :wink:

I just have read, that on Sat and Sun the Citroen-clubs (top floor in 9.1) will have a special guest. Monsieur Robert Opron will be there. And he will bring some clay-models with him.

@chicomarx: at that a restoration-team will start with a remake of the 1963' Erik Carlsson-96.

Is anyone interested to come there? If yes, let me know, maybe we can make the next try of a IMCDB-user-meeting. And maybe I can smuggle someone inside for free. We are back again, as Volkswagen is sponsoring our club with a prestentation-stand (only our club). My friend Mario has some connections.
Yes, we always hold a distance to VW for some reasons, but never look a gift horse in the mouth... :wink:
