Hey Everyone!

I run The Classic Car Wiki. I have been intrested in Classic Cars for some time now and have been to many shows over the years. I started the wiki when I couldn't find a source to identify some of my photos.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help us with the TV and Movies section (http://classiccars.wikia.com/wiki/TV_AND_MOVIES). We decided to create this project so that people could add info of classic cars they have seen in the movies and so people can see what classic cars are in movies. As this website is similar to this, would any of you want to help?

It is free to sign up to the wiki and get editing, the built in editor is easy to use. If you just want to add a classic car or photos feel free to do that too

If you have any questions, you can find me on the wiki using the same username.

Thanks for reading,

TheWWC

So in a way you ask to help to build a "rival" website?

I wouldn't call it a rival site, We don't have a hope in hell but more of an affiliate site

Trying to find if knowledgeable and prolific contributor 'Pilou' is still active?

Fortunately not, at least for truck identification (I don't know how reliable was his car knowledge). He was good at generic identification, but the details and complements he gave (ton-rating, model codes and so on), even if possible, were nothing more than guesses: how can one identify a ton-rating when several trucks share all specs except the said ton-rating or a wheelbase when just the front face is visible?
There's still a lot of corrections to be done on most of his contributions...

He stopped contributing in 2013.
