Hie can someone tell me what happened to the page for The Legend of Korra that was here on the site yesterday ?

It was explained on the page. It's animation that contains "Made for Movie" cars, in other words fantasy cars. "Made for Movie" vehicles actually built for a movie are entirely different.

but in such case it could have been kept with vehicles in comments so no-one re-adds it thinking it is not yet listed...

So let me get this right the page was removed because someone was to lazy to edit the name of th cars

No, they shouldn't be listed, as there is no name to put on them.
But the one who posted them (was it you?) should have put them in the movie comments rather than adding them as vehicle pages.

No you didn't: as I said they are not supposed to be added as vehicle pages, since they are not real vehicles.
They can be posted in comments, like here for example: http://www.imcdb.org/movie_94625-Akira.html

That is pretty stupid and it also leaves weary little chances for people to updating the page plus can't we just keep the vehicles under unknown it is so much easier

@Antoine: is it neccessary to keep this useless discussion here, and clutter the forum up with it? Monty's yelling is totally irrelevant and a pain in the ass.

What's the point of putting as "unknown" vehicle that can't be identified anyway since they are not real?
The "made for movie" was an exception for vehicles made especially for a movie, but as explained above this does not apply for cartoon cars, which are tolerated on the site only when meeting some quality criteria
