Yes, a Mercedes. I'm very sure, that it's a [W116], an earlier one due the full-chrome door handles.

A Belgian NSU-freak has shown around album-covers of him, where always were NSU's in the background. On one pic he sits in one.
One "cover-car" is a 1967 NSU TT in geminimetallic with Belgian plates.
