Good idea!

I thought the same (song about cars, not songs with cars in the clip), but was too lazy to start it. I've already looked for the videos.

O.k., here we are:

Johnny Cash - One piece at the time, song about a guy who works in Cadillac factory in Detroit, and wants to make one for himself by sneaking parts out from the fectory for 30 years:

Something from Serbia - band called "Atheist rap"(it's not a rap band thank God, they play rock  - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atheist_rap) and two songs about DDR icons - Wartburg and Trabant, named "Blu Trabant" (Blue Trabant) and "Varburg limuzina" (Wartburg limousine). Trabant song came out in 1993., and on the same album they made Wartburg song that was in connection with first song. In Trabant song, they sing about their blue Trabant, girls they scored in that car :joce: , and at the end Trabant is eaten by pigs (as seen in one of Emir Kusturica's films  )while they were playing in some village. But they used the engine to make a saw for wood (one thing that can actually be built from Trabant's engine). In second song, they mention how they lost their Trabant, so they bought Wartburg because they like crazy speeds  . At the end pigs also try to eat Wartburg, but they loose their teeth.

Blu Trabant (Blue Trabant):

Varburg limuzina (Wartburg limousine):

I'll put more songs here later, I'll also try to translate them so everybody can understand it.

I remember very well that this was played constantly on the radio in 1986 in Belgium, it's a parody of songs like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POv-3yIPSWc but no one got the satirical meaning and it went straight to number 1.

It's one of the songs, about everyone says, that such stuff is embarrassing, shameful, horrible, etc.pp, but the funny thing is, that on parties, everyone, when he's drunken enough, sings them along with the others - and more funny is, that everyone knows the song-texts. :boidleau:
