Apparently, somebody went and added "Made in Canada for all first generation Dodge Intrepids. So now they need to be undone.

Absolute mayhem on the site with people changing huge batches of stuff one-by-one with wrong info. Using this thread saves time and also gives people the chance to tell people their latest bright idea is incorrect.

A few more batch changes needed because of this:

Someone has added C520 to all first and second generation Ford Kugas, this is apparantly only the code for the second generation. Can this be removed from all Kugas where MK = 1? Wikipedia suggests the correct code is C394, but I don't really have the time to fact check this info (and I'm not sure it's necessary having a code as this car was always called Kuga and we have MK numbers in place).

The CE14 code issue has appeared again:
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=954096
https://imcdb.opencommunity.be/forum_topic-8124-62218-Ford_s_CE14_code.html#p62218

Applied wrongly to a load of South American Mk3 and MK4 Escorts, it should only be used on the later generations from MK5, but as these cars are already sorted by a MK number and year, and the thousands of Euro models don't have this code yet, I think we're probably better off getting rid altogether?

There are similar problems with South American GM products, but I need to work out what exactly we need to sort out.

I think we need to sort out guidance for admins on model codes and using the Batch update thread instead after all of this too, there are a lot of problems that are going to mean work for antp to batch amend!

Another Fiat code which isn't applied on every example:
[176] for all Fiat Punto 1a serie (1994-1999)

I have checked and they are indeed all OK. Sorry, when I had last checked, there were some without code, probably they were updated in the meanwhile

Not so much a Mass Change request but a record of why I'm changing things manually. The second generation Toyota Camry [XV10} wagon models were "Built in USA" for North America, Europe and Japan. Australia made them for the lower Pacific Rim. There aren't too many of them and since it is mixed, I'm just doing them manually.

http://imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&yearFrom=1992&yearTo=19- 96&makeMatch=2&make=toyota&modelMatch=1&model=camry&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=- on&mk=&class8=8&origin=&madein=&madefor=&role=

Changing the Coupes too. They were all "Built in USA"

2007+ Granturismo is [M145]
2014+ Ghibli is [M157]

Most of the Quattroporte seem to already have the code, in such case it is easier to just ask to update the missing page(s). Writing the query for less than 10 cars usually takes more time than updating manually... (with always a small risk of error, and updating the wrong entries)
III : 1 vehicle updated
IV : 8 (ok this one was maybe worth it)
V : 2
VI : 2
Same for the 3 Ghibli

For the Granturismo it was worth doing it. I see that there is not just "Granturismo" but also other "Granturismo something" models, so I updated them at the same time, as they seem to have all the same code... Hoping there is no side effect applying a code to special Granturismo versions that had another one.

Sorry, I will pay more attention to how many are the ones without code.
Anyway, also the GranCabrio is [M145]. And I just checked, the majority doesn't have a code  Thanks in advance!

Mercedes 300 SL [W198] coupe. We have a big split with big batch with Coupe in the model name and a big batch without. I've no definite preference either way, but it may make more sense to add Coupe to parallel the separate Roadster collection. However to note there's 5 oddballs at the bottom of that list which would need to be sifted out from a block change.

I'm beyond the edge of my knowledge envelope, but is there a difference with another batch of Coupes we've got with [W198 I] code. Should the [W198] gang join the [W198 I] army?? Including the 5 oddballs??
09/03/2021 @ 13:07:48: 993cc: Mass change model info thread
Reading through some somewhat legit sites including Daimler's own pages on these cars I come to the conclusion that the "I" in "W198 I" was added in retrospect after the Roadster W198 II came about. It makes more sense when you consider that according to the sources I've read the Roadster wasn't planned from the begining but later on when they decided to wrap up production of the Coupe due to slowing sales and US pressure for a roadster more powerfull than the 190SL. So probably W198=W198I.

As discussed in the Non-Unidentified Vehicles thread for the 159 'Alfetta':
158 'Alfetta' .. same logic it was always an "official" nickname
https://www.imcdb.org/vehicles.php?make=Alfa+Romeo&model=158+Alfetta&modelMatch=- 1&modelInclModel=on
^I still have my doubts for one of those...

plus.. these were not called ''Sprints'' but simply 1900 C Cabriolet Pininfarina . C for corto -short chassis.
