Dear housemates,

last year, a 1990 Nissan Sunny Traveller [B12] knocked at my door and I let it in. And now it's mine. All white, first-hand-car, mileage of 100.000 km. Pictures can be posted later on, as it's currently not here with me and we haven't actually started the project of bringing it back on the road.

In Europe and Hong Kong, these were sold as Sunny Travellers, much more common in the world is the name Nissan (Sentra) California, just like we list them on the site:

I have a soft-spot for "forgotten" everyday cars but also love the out of the ordinary. That means, a rare car (39 units registered in Germany in 2017) is fine, but a version that wasn't sold here is even more special and I always liked rebadging my cars (some of my former Opel Senator & Rekord have been relabelled as Vauxhalls or Holdens).

Do we have a specialist for the Nissan Sunny/ Sentra [B12] around here? I'd love to know what I have to do in order to visually convert my Sunny Traveller into a California. Are there any badges or scripts for these available anywhere in the world? Thanks in advance for any help!

A propos Nissan Sunny: last week I've seen, that the ultra-rare

is still alive, which a vet in my village is driving.
Shall I try to catch it for you?

No, thanks! :dawanon: I'm not gonna specialize in Nissans and they're actually far from being on my bucket list. The Sunny Traveller just happened, because a friend of mine and I swapped cars that we didn't like - I got rid of my Kadett E 1.6 CS Automatic and he finally got rid of the Nissan. But once it was mine, I found myself really happy with it - beyond the fact I don't have an awful E-Kadett grinning at me all the time.
