I recommend Windows Media Player Classic.

Actually it is juste "Media Player Classic", no link with Windows Media Player, except that it looks like the old version of that program (6.x)

I don't it's possible to capture a picture in Windows Media Player. I recommend Windows Media Player Classic. Quicktime Player can also do the work. In QuickTime and MPC you can go forward "shot by shot" (very slowly).

I've read on web pages that people either use Crtl-I or or "print screen". I'm sure it can be done because people here have said that they used Windows Media Player, the classic version or not.

indeed

I do not think that it is possible.

I usually use Media Player Classic for that (it has a Save Image command in its File menu).
Lots of DVD-player programs also have capture functions.

Can someone tell me how to capture pictures from a DVD being played by Windows Media Player? I've tried using Ctrl-I, but I don't know what to do next. If there's another way (besides using "Print Screen" and then pasting it in Microsoft paint) Can someone let me know?
