almost forgot, in an episode with a wild horse that gets amnesia so it becomes tame, a 1958 Mercury Commuter 2DR wagon was used. Love Mercs!

Lassie used Chryslers for most of its 19-season run. Early-on they used old, beat up (not new) Fords, but when Jack Wrather became executive producer, the cars got shinier.
Martin Family Car (1958) 1957 Dodge Coronet 4DR Sedan
Martin Family Truck (1959-1964) 1958 Dodge Stepside (model number unknown)
Several Dodge pick ups were used as Forest Service Vehicles, but the prop department wasn't afraid to used other makes for backlot filmed scenes: 1956 Desoto Sportsman wagon, 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible, 1959 Oldsmobile 98 4DR Hardtop, & 1960 Ford Ranch Wagon (used by several different characters)

Someday I will post them here for all to enjoy.

There were many old tv series that may or may not be available on tape or DVD. If it is available then you can be sure that sooner or later someone will post pictures. If its an old series that is not currently available then the chance that anyone remembers it sufficiently to list the cars is remote.

....this topic is maybe more for the "cars & movies" section of the forum rather than "contributions". Do you want me to move it there?

That would be good.
Thank you.

There are quite less people here on the forum than on the site. In addition of that, this topic is maybe more for the "cars & movies" section of the forum rather than "contributions". Do you want me to move it there?

Hi all, I've just found this forum and website, looking for all Studebaker related movies TV etc.

I was surprised about the glaring ommission from the listings of the US TV series Mr. Ed (the talking horse).

Studebaker sponsored that show and showcased it's new models for the years that it was on.

Does anyone recall this?
