You are right. I must have been thinking about how El Camino (Chevrolet) has always been two words, and, of course, Eldorado is correctly listed on your site as one word. De Luxe and DeLuxe probably vary among the same maker depending on the year. Cheers. Now to look around for a 58 Buick Limited or Limited Riviera, which according to Quentin Wilson, has 12 "utterly pointless" diagonal chrome slashes running from the C pillar to the back end.

When did Eldorado get decided as one word, it's probably in the Naming Conventions forum.
You mean "Eldorado" rather than "El Dorado"? I think that it was the name used by Cadillac...
The open question is rather for the DeLuxe vs De Luxe for many makes, or the DeVille vs de Ville for Cadillac.

No, I don't have the movie, but thanks for replying! The 59-61 DeSotos are lacking somewhat in presence on your site, so any 50s-60s US time period movies that come out, we should be on high alert for those. I would also like to see more 57-58 Mercury Turnpike Cruisers. When did Eldorado get decided as one word, it's probably in the Naming Conventions forum. Thanks again.

Well, it is maybe not useful to list all models of such pictures, as they are rather small & far. The Aronde was quite unusual compared to the others.
Is the Buick seen in other scenes or is it also just seen there?

Is this the right place to post? Since we don't have a color side view of this car, can we add a link to http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_48158-Simca-Aronde-1956.html
for this model?
Thank you.
I have been on the lookout for late-year DeSotos (58-61). I love seeing the 61 in the Las Vegas series!
