Yeah, I try to keep it clean. Dirty cars make me sad.
Yeah, parts sharing is awesome. That's how I got my SHO storage bin and police speedometer.

Yes, that’s quite funny. My 1997 and 2001 model Expedition’s both had the same Steering column/ Hazard button/ and Column shifter as Qwerty's car. I can’t see the Title adjust stalk on the column in Qwerty’s car, but I would bet it was even the same. The only part that was different was the Steering wheel itself, which was carried over from the Ford F-Series trucks. The Expedition even shared the same dash layout from its parent vehicle; the 1997-2002 F-150. The front (hood, fenders, grille, headlamps, bumper and bumper valance) was carried over from the F-150 as well, but after the A-pillar the Expedition was a whole different animal. When Ford partially redesigned the Expedition for the 2003 model year (about 90% of it was revised) they gave the Expedition its own look (inside and out) to separate it from it’s parent vehicle. Ford has quit most of it cosmetic parts sharing, but they still partake in mechanical parts swapping. I don’t think that will ever go away as it helps them cut-costs.

The same steering wheel on my uncle's 1997 Grand Marquis.

Nice upgrades qwerty. My first Ford Expedition I bought back in the late ‘90s had the same Wiper Control stalk. The chrome cap does dress it up a bit. The pedal looks good too. BTW, the interior itself looks nice, appears you take good care of it and the car.

No. I'm going to wait until the spring or beginning of summer to get it fixed just because I need my car right now for school and work. My mechanic told me the line's been exposed due to a hole in the pipe which caused the accumulator/dryer to dry up so that needs to be replaced as well as needing to replace the A/C manifold. Not too happy about that quote since 80% of the A/C system needs replacing.
BTW, here's a "Before" picture:

Not much, but ok. Is your Air Conditioner fixed yet?

Picked up a few items to make my car just a tad classier. I went to the junkyard to find a seatbelt receptacle since the front passenger's belt buckle has been a little flakey since I bought the car (I've never bothered to tell my passengers LOL!). I love browsing at the junkyard so I grabbed a few parts while wandering around.
The brake pedal is from a FWD Cadillac Deville. It fits perfectly top to bottom, but it's wider than the metal pedal. It's not a big deal since it fits pretty snug and I have no problem with it. The cap on the turn signal is from a FWD Lincoln Continental (which shares the same platform as my car). The Lincoln also had a chromed tilt steering lever and shifter, but I think it's too much chrome for my liking. I wanted to grab a chrome outlined pad (like some higher end GMs) for the regular brake pedal, but the metal part is too bloody massive for any other car's pedal pad to fit. Even the Continental has a smaller pedal, which I found odd.
Anyways, I also grabbed a few goodies for my collection:
