I can just imagine that a lot of departments wouldn't even consider buying the car due to the issue with the re-sale value.

well, it is nice idea for the producer of such cars - imagine the situation, when all or nearly all departments will have only these cars. Then producer should quite raise the prices of service and parts and police will be forced to buy them..
Will not happen with good old Crown Vic IMHO

The front kind of favors the new Chevy Camaro.

Looks strange a little, but I think Crown Vic's seem better for the job. I don't like the back door on this one.

I don't like the way it looks, and while some of those ideas seem practical, I can't see the car working out too well in the long run.
