It is indeed quite nice for that, I like it
Even though Simone is a rather poor movie I love the blue Citroen DS and the Alfa Romeo.
I found the movie nice. I like when they use special cars movies when they are set in future or "parallel" world. Like in Gattaca for example.

Bandits is one of my all time favorite movies for cars. There's such a mix of vehicles from the Citroen DS to the 60s Mercedes convertible to the El Camino and GTO to the lime green Land Cruiser and ancient blue Suburban. What's strange is when they steal the PT Cruiser I almost enjoy that part even though I really dislike the car.

One of my favorite bad guy cars in Mad Max 2 would have to be this one that is only seen very shortly

Yeah, I liked the bit where Christine was chasing down Moochie and squashed him into the wall. I hated the bit where Buddy and his gang trashed her, yet it was great when she was covered in flames and chasing him down. There's talk of a remake that's supposed to be coming out next year or the year after that.

Just finished watching it Great movie!
I have a better idea for the ending though. When they show the compressed cube of wreckage that was previously Christine, they should have shown a headlight all smooshed and broken, then shown it slowly fixing itself and turning on. Then they should have had an old song playing on the smooshed radio from inside the cube, with some sort lyrics that went something like "I'll be back again" or "I'm coming back" I can just imagine it in my mind, it'd be perfect!
