Funny, that Alero looks exactly like my driver's ed car that I drove a few months ago, same color even
Though that one appears to be the expenzive more luxurious model (laether seats, power windows, etc...) while the one I drove was the very cheap, most basic model (cloth seats, maunal windows, manual everything for that matter )

About BlackIce_GTS's message, I'd add that Dacia is linked to Renault-Nissan. Long time ago they were making the Renault 12 under licence in Romania. Now they make some low-cost models based on Renault parts and chassis, which are sold on some market as Renault (Russia: Renault Logan) or Nissan (Mexico: Nissan Aprio).

Pretty good you all.
Currently they sell re-badged Deawoo Models (made in Korea) as Chevrolet in Europe (what a fraud in my eyes). The Alero was an imported Olds - they didn´t even change the badge, just wrote "Chevrolet" onto the trunk ==>
The Opel Omega is out of production but was available in the U.S. as a re-badged Cadillac Catera (I guess 1996 - 2001 or so).
Lada started cooperating with Fiat back in the 1970s or so. In the 1990s they also had cooperation with GM but are still independent.
You all have won - my respect!

1)
Alfa Romeo
Dacia. Don't know anything about them, sounds sort of right.
Lancia
=FIAT
Opel
=GM
Audi
Bentley
Bugatti
Lamborghini
Seat
Skoda
=Volkswagen
Rolls Royce
=BMW
Rover.
=Changfeng? Sort of guessing, not sure anyone owns them anymore.
I think Lada is partnered with FIAT, but I'm pretty sure they're independant. I'm not sure about Lancia, every once in a while I go and look at what models they're making now, and none of them seem at all interesting. I wouldn't be suprised if they were owned by VW, but I think it's FIAT.
2) Vectra, I'm pretty sure.
I didn't know they were still making Omegas.
3) Chrysler Viper I know. Probably the Neon, maybe the Stratus? Chryslers must not sell very well in Europe. The Avenger doesn't seem to sell well even here, I don't think they'd have bothered shipping them over.
Chevrolet is really a budget brand in Europe, I don't think they'd have made an Alero.

Hmmm... I am surprised to learn VW owns all those expenive car companies, especially Lamborghini!
