Anything with RWD, 6 speed automatic, and a 400+ BHP V8, works for me. Let's just see if GM's future gets any better than what it is now.

I read about this yesterday, it's a shame the DTS is to disappear, i really like it, but as we all known things must be adapted to the times, there are cars designs i'll never get tired of, just like the Jaguar XJ, for which a new generation will come out soon, yet i'm not tired of its current shape which has been lasting for decades.

Large sedans are actually very profitable, especially luxury ones. They do not cost very much more to make than smaller cars, but they are allowed to charge a large premium simply because they are slotted higher.

Just look at the Town Car, it's just a Crown Victoria with different sheetmetal, yet they Ford charges twice as much for them. That means lots of $$$ for each sale.

Perhaps you will think, that it sounds negative, but one very important thing must be stay:
Cadillac, resp. the whole GM should still exist in 2010/2012. This is not a confirmed, hard fact right now.

And this big Cadillac will definetely not help GM to survive or even to earn a little money. For that it's too umimportant.

If all goes as planned, sources confirmed the current Cadillac DTS sedan, dead by 2010/2012.

But, will be replaced by a all-new slightly bigger Cadillac XTS, which is said to be built in Oshawa on a stretched AWD chassis (its due by 2012, but won’t likely go on sale until late 2012 as a 2013 model) The sedan will be a ultra luxury sedan endowed with the latest advancements in mega technology, luxury refinements and all that jazz ...

Rumors state it will likely look similar to the Cadillac Sixteen Concept ...
