First post here, so I hope this is in the correct section.
When I was young, say late 1980's I remember a movie that had a younger guy being coaxed by an attractive sales-woman into having a Lamborghini-esque clone built at a dealership. I think it was a kit car firm or something to that nature. While he was at the computer picking options, he went kinda crazy and the machine was making loud laser noises when he was pushing buttons. The boss of the company might have been a "big tex" type.
Turns out the car was a piece and broke down on him and a tow truck had the car suspended in the air from the rear or from the front, I just remember how strange it was for the car to be in the air like that. Can't think of the color of the car other than it had a large wing resembling a Countach's. I don't remember much else of the movie.
Any ideas?
