I just bought the first issue of a new rally partwork, the Lancia Stratos winner of the 1977 Montecarlo Rally :amout:

It’s a model by IXO. I know it has some errors but of course I can’t say no to a rally Lancia, and anyway I find it a good model, especially for 5€

There was also the first issue of this new American trucks collection: https://www.deagostini.com/it/collezioni-figures-3d/semirimorchi-americani
But I didn’t buy it also because of space reasons even if I was tempted
dsl
I had to leave all my collections at home in Italy (for now) so let me introduce my first purchases in the new Country ....

Just for info if interested, Oxford Diecast seem to be having a warehouse clearance of old stock into the trade, including in 1:76 some ur-Quattros, S3 Cabrios, and TT coupes - this is their range but showing at normal price. Maybe some cheapies will start popping up in retail outlets/ebay etc??

ouch.. horrible thought but probably cruel truth..

Bought a bunch of Matchbox cars from the Dollar Store.. i just can"t believe that they have a better/newer selection than Walmart and Toys R US ...

Also bought a said-to-be 1965 Dodge A100 camper van that strangely has a license plate that says 1964 ..

I suspect there must be really very few of those 400 131 Stradale road cars left in road-car trim. Most of these probably were stripped of their road-legal equipment right after production and went to rallying competiton for various independent teams/privateers.

It's the civilian version of the Rallye one, produced to achieve homologation as a "road car". 400 made in 1976 by Bertone

Thanks dsl
I was not too sure if it was a civilian one that got the Rallye fogs lights or a Rallye that got a civilian paint job

Nice catches  I haven’t found the 131 yet sadly. Nice Rabbit too

I see there are also 131s in livery and nice sets with the 037 and the transporter too: https://hotwheels.fandom.com/wiki/Fiat_131_Abarth

Thanks

I did not saw the 131 with its trnsport truck but i saw its two series friends

Fiat 131 Abarth but i don't know if its the civilian or the Rallye one and since the only other Fiat i have are 500 and Ritmo , i went for it

New in Baube's garage
red Ford Bronco
was not supposed to buy it ( already have it..or is it the blue one ? ) but i was so happy to see something else than that Citroen that wants to be your friend ( seriously, i think the Walmart has them on the shelves for the past 2 years.. ) that i bought it on the spot

A yellow 1967 Chevelle

Two more that Q will never ever see again..

Last one , 1979 VW Rabbit . I was surprised that they used the name Rabbit instead of Golf and it was one of the reasons that made me buy it . There was also a GTI but i have already this one . I.ll check it again and may buy it if it says Rabbit too

I don't know , so far , all the Auto World i've bought had wheels that matched the real vehicle , not generic ones shared with multiple models
Exiv96
But isn't that the case on all of Auto World's basic range, with "fast & smooth rolling wheels" ?

About those two Greenlights, they share the same design problem : the side windows are inserted from outside - which is standard procedure for collectible 1/43 models, for instance - but you can see the body metal through these windows ! Either the windows should have their edges and pillars painted in black, or the excess visible metal should be eliminated from the tooling.
