Haven’t posted in the forum for a while, so while I have time, lets gaze into the future.
There hasn’t been any talk of an Eddie Bauer version of the all-new 2011 Explorer.
Oddly enough Ford released preproduction info on the 2011 Expedition and Eddie Bauer is strangely absent from any info on trim levels. There are XLT, Limited and King Ranch. XL and XLT with the Sport appearance package appear to be making a return for the 2011 model year.
Does that mean the end of the well liked two tone paint work with Pueblo Gold. Not really, since it is also used on the King Ranch models.
I won’t list any changes to the 2011 Expedition since there are none that really stand out. A all-new or thoroughly redesigned Expedition is due for 2013. New off road goodies are expected to make their way onto the new 2013 Expedition.
Eddie Bauer itself seems to be doing fine, both Ford and Eddie Bauer probably just didn’t want to renew any further advertising contracts. Maybe cost cutting at work.
